At the end of the day when we’re breathing our last breath, we must be satisfied with ourselves, what we have accomplished, and how we have lived our life. There may not be any parade, billboard, or cheerleaders expressing who you are or what you have accomplished, but you must know.
If we focus on doing our life review while we are here, we can make any corrections along the way. Ask yourself what would I do differently in looking back? What would I be willing to let go of? Where would I take more of a risk in life? What would I still like to be, do, or have? It's never too late.
A great way to look at this is every change of season, ask these questions of yourself and start to make changes now. Don't wait until you are on your deathbed, perhaps full of regrets. I know I want to leave this planet in a much better place than when I arrived.
The Native Americans believe what they do affects the next seven generations. Think about what that means. How are we leaving the earth, animals, resources, and our fellow human beings?
We must take responsibility for what we can do to improve things. Be content with yourself but keep growing and improving your outreach. Don't wait until it's too late to use your gifts, influence, and resources to make this world a better place. 💜
