As we are at the beginning of this new year, it is easy to be pulled into planning, goal-setting, and mentally racing ahead. While intention can be powerful, overplanning can pull us out of the present moment, where life is actually happening. The truth is, you can't get clear when you feel pressured, it arrives through presence. When we stay with now, we can hear ourselves more clearly.
By staying in the present moment, it can hold information that the future cannot give us yet. Our bodies, emotions, and intuition speak in real time, not in future time. It is important to remember this. When we rush to map out the year ahead, we can bypass what may need our attention in the now. Staying in the moment allows your wisdom to flow more easily. The present moment holds information that the future cannot give us yet. We know that the future is dependent on the present and is the result of it.
There will be time to plan. There will be moments when vision naturally rises. For now, presence is enough. When we ground ourselves into today, your breath, your feelings, and your small choices will build a foundation that supports whatever the year becomes, instead of not accomplishing a bunch of things on your yearly list that you
May not accomplish. The future will grow gracefully one step at a time, as you stay present with what’s before you.
