A Heart Still Blooming: Finding Love, Healing, and Transformation After Loss

There are moments in life that divide our story into a before and an after.

For me, losing Gerard was one of those moments.

Grief has a way of changing everything. It changes how we see time, how we experience memories, and how we understand love. While grief has brought moments of deep sadness, it has also become one of my greatest teachers.

It has reminded me that love is not something we lose. Love transforms.

Learning How Love Continues After Loss

For many years, Gerard and I shared a life centered around serving others. Together, we created a space where people felt seen, supported, and loved. We held space for healing, laughter, tears, and hope.

Although we never had children together, we often joked that we had hundreds of people who came into our lives seeking comfort, guidance, and a place where they could simply be themselves.

Somewhere along the way, we became Mom and Dad to many hearts.

After Gerard’s passing, I found myself asking a different question.

Instead of asking, “How do I keep going?”

I began asking:

“How do I continue loving?”

The answer surprised me.

I discovered that love does not disappear when someone’s physical presence is gone. Love simply changes form.

It becomes quieter.

It appears in memories that bring a smile instead of tears. It shows up in the kindness of a stranger, the beauty of a blooming rose, the peacefulness of a sunrise, and those unexpected moments when gratitude fills your heart for having loved so deeply.

Love remains.

The Healing Journey: Learning to Receive Love

One of the greatest lessons grief has taught me is the importance of extending compassion toward myself.

For so many years, my heart was focused on caring for others. Supporting others. Holding space for others.

Now I am learning that receiving is just as sacred as giving.

Rest is sacred.

Joy is sacred.

Continuing to grow is sacred.

Healing does not mean forgetting the people we love. It means carrying the gifts they gave us forward and allowing those gifts to continue through the way we live.

The love we shared becomes part of who we are.

What Part of You Is Ready to Bloom?

Every flower blooms in its own season, and so do we.

There may be a dream you have quietly carried. A gift you have been hesitant to share. Or a part of yourself that has patiently waited for permission to be seen.

Blooming does not require becoming someone different.

It asks you to trust who you already are.

This month, I invite you to notice what gently calls to your heart.

Where do you feel excitement?

Where do you feel curiosity?

Where do you feel a quiet knowing?

Those whispers are often your soul inviting you into your next chapter.

Instead of asking:

“Am I ready?”

Perhaps ask:

“What within me is already ready to bloom?”

Then take one small step toward honoring that beautiful part of yourself.

A New Season of Purpose and Creation

This season has also brought a quiet transformation in my own life.

After many years of creating weekly content and feeling the pressure to constantly keep up, I am choosing a different path.

A path that feels more intentional.

More spacious.

More aligned with my heart and Spirit.

I am learning that slowing down does not mean doing less.

It means creating with greater purpose.

This season, I am focusing on projects that will serve you for years to come, including a guided journal, a new prayer book, deeper monthly teachings, the continued development of the Rose Lineage, and my upcoming book, A Legacy of Love.

Each offering is connected by the same intention:

To help you deepen your relationship with yourself, with Spirit, and with the wisdom that already lives within you.

Trusting Change as an Invitation

Change can feel uncertain. It can ask us to release what we once knew and trust what is unfolding.

But perhaps change is not something to fear.

Perhaps it is an invitation.

An invitation from your soul to become more fully yourself.

May you have the courage to release what no longer fits.

May you trust what is no longer unfolding.

May you take one faithful step at a time.

Every ending carries the seed of a new beginning.

Every season of change prepares us to bloom in ways we never imagined.

A Rose Petal of Wisdom

The Rose never rushes to bloom, yet it never misses its season.

May you trust your own timing.

May you honor your own journey.

And may the rose within you continue to unfold, one beautiful petal at a time. 🌹

The New Spiritual Path is About Embodiment

For years, spirituality was taught as leaving the physical experience behind. Transcend the body. Rise above emotion. Detach from the material world. But true awakening is not escape. It is embodiment
