Acts Of Kindness

Writer: Brenda EdwardsBrenda Edwards

Thank you, everyone, for all the wonderful birthday wishes and acts of kindness. It’s always such a surprise to me when my birthday comes around and I’m reminded of how much I am loved. A lot of the time you may not realize the things you do that may not seem like a big deal, but mean so much to someone else. You may pick a few flowers from your yard and bring them to someone just in time to brighten their day, hold a door for someone when their hands are full, and even just thanking someone for doing their job right. Yes, it has gotten to this! So many times people don’t do their job right anymore, that when they do, it is a huge deal.

Always think about how you would like to be treated and then you will always know the right way to be. Take a few extra minutes to express to someone how you feel. Things can really be turned around in a flash, so be polite and patient. I remember a lot of things I learned in Girl Scouts and to this day they remain important in life.

Kindness doesn’t cost a thing. If you hold it in your ♥️ it becomes natural to you. Bless silently every single person who crosses your path. At some level, they will feel it. Remember to give kindness to yourself as a special gift of love. Stop beating yourself up. Go get that massage. Go shopping and own time for yourself. Just holding the vibration of kindness is enough.

Practice...practice...practice...Kindness is always a two-sided deal, you receive as well as them!
