Happy Fathers Day & Summer Solstice

This year fathers everywhere will be sharing the date of fathers day with summer solstice which makes it extra-powerful! First of all Happy Fathers Day to all you fathers that are amazing. Also, to those of you who are not biological fathers but have stepped up to father those who have needed it, you rock! For all you single mothers that play both roles, you rock too! I didn't forget all you furbaby dads as well. All of these roles make the world go round. Thank you!

I can't believe that summer is finally here. It has felt like the longest year yet! Thank God we are getting a reprieve from all the isolation and craziness of this time. As many of you know, summer solstice is the longest day of the year. Another turn of the wheel. With each and every turn of the season, I see it as a time of reevaluation and a time of celebration. Summer has always felt like freedom to me. I remember growing up and on the last day of the school year flying out the door thinking I'm free! That's how I'm feeling now!

On this powerful day do a review of where you are in the cycle of things. What would you like to change? What would you like to get rid of?

What would you like to create or manifest into being? This is a powerful time to create a ritual that represents you shifting from the season of spring to summer. For those of you who have created altars in the past, now would be a good time to change it up with things that remind you of summer. Since summer is represented by the element of fire, this is a great time for bonfires and clearing space to make room for what you’re manifesting. The summer is an abundant time with crops coming to their fullness, flowers in full bloom, and generally an overabundance of everything.

This is a great time to put out your wishes for manifestation from now to fall. Take note of all that has manifested from spring until now. This is also a positive time to share the harvest. If you have an overabundance of things in the garden, share them. Remembering what goes out comes back to you. It's Spiritual Law! Most importantly, enjoy the day and make plans for an unforgettable Summer. Enjoy!!
