Deeper Trauma

I have decided to write a four part series about trauma and making people aware of it.

It is important to know that everyone has had trauma but it’s what you do with it that’s your business and will show how you move through the world based on that decision.

There are so many kinds of trauma and collective trauma is one of the biggest kinds.

Collective trauma “ calls attention to a reaction to the psychological reactions to a traumatic event that affects an entire society.” This could be 9/11, the assassination of JFK, wars, the holocaust, what’s happening in Israel, the Ukraine, and what happened in Rwanda  just to name a few. We also are purging for our Ancestors that weren’t able to heal these horrific events in their time and place in history. We have past life traumas, and Karmic traumas with people, places, and things.

At some point we need to stop and ask what are we playing out in our lives and who does it belong to and who are the players that have showed up in our lives to help us under the disguise of an Angel wearing a mask to teach you something. Sometimes it is about making a new choice, creating a new boundary, or speaking up and deciding not to be silent anymore. That can give you a jumpstart to your healing.

As if that isn’t enough, we also have body blockages that keeps our body stuck at times or keeps it from healing. Body issues seem to come up at the perfect time when it wants to get our attention. Sometimes it starts mild and gets more intense till it seems to scream for help. It is important to know that we have to heal on all levels, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and of course physically. Sometimes the body issue will remind us of a past life injury or death but with some work, we can heal this too. Now that I have explained the collective trauma start doing inventory and see what you can come up with. Next week we will continue with this.
